Laurent Bossavie

Laurent Bossavie is a labor economist in the Social Protection and Jobs Department of the World Bank, currently focusing on Europe and South Asia. His main research areas are applied microeconomics, labor economics, and the economics of migration. His work studies the causal effects of labor and migration policies on workers’ outcomes in both high-income and developing countries. His research on these topics has been published in leading peer-reviewed journals in labor economics and as World Bank analytical reports. He holds a PhD in Economics from the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence, Italy.
